AARP The Magazine
As part of the Art Direction team for AARP, I led the transition of AARP The Magazine and AARP Bulletin from print to digital platforms. My role centered on shaping the visual storytelling for tablet readers by adapting traditional layouts into interactive, engaging experiences that preserved the integrity of the brand while embracing new digital possibilities.
I directed the use of Adobe Digital Publishing Suite (DPS) to create immersive content, incorporating interactive elements that elevated reader engagement and accessibility. In addition to overseeing execution, I served as the in-house DPS subject matter expert, training staff and ensuring all assets functioned seamlessly across devices. This art direction not only modernized AARP’s flagship publications but also set a standard for how legacy print could evolve into dynamic digital formats.
