New York Fashion Week
As the Lead Designer on the New York Fashion Week website redesign, I led the creative vision, ensuring the site reflected the cutting-edge energy and sophistication of one of the world’s premier fashion events. I guided the team and client through the creation of a style tile, a critical step in establishing the project’s visual direction and design foundation.
Our goal was to craft a look that was both edgy and modern minimalist, reflecting the streetwise, high-fashion vibe of NYFW. We used brush stroke typography to inject an expressive, rebellious edge while maintaining readability and sophistication. The color palette was carefully curated with gold tones, conveying luxury and a high-end aesthetic. To enhance the sleek, contemporary feel, we incorporated monotone photography, creating a refined, minimalist backdrop that allowed the content and design elements to shine.
The style tile served as a communication tool with the client, allowing us to explore visual directions, refine branding decisions, and ensure design consistency across typography, color, and interface elements. It also streamlined the design process, providing a clear reference for component-based design and reducing revisions in later stages.
Through this approach, I led the team in translating the dynamic, sophisticated energy of New York Fashion Week into a visually compelling, modern digital experience that balanced minimalism, luxury, and urban edge.
